Green Logistics: Mubea Cargobikes support Amazon in Berlin
In our capital city, Amazon recently opened a micromobility center that enables the emission-free delivery of 1.5 million packages annually with our e-cargobikes. This is a significant step towards sustainable logistics, and we are proud to be part of this development.
These bikes actively contribute to reducing air pollution through their emission-free technology and offer companies a cost-effective and efficient way to carry out their deliveries. With generous loading capacities and easy handling, they are an ideal solution for delivery services. The partnership with Amazon highlights the potential of cargobikes to sustainably transform urban logistics.
Since July 2024, the districts of Spandau, Reinickendorf, and Pankow have been benefiting from the expanded use of these cargo bikes. The new center near Alexanderplatz is one of over 50 of its kind and plays a crucial role in fast and reliable delivery.
With over 50 million packages delivered by electric vehicles nationwide in 2023, including Berlin, Munich, Freiburg, Koblenz, Aachen, and Essen, Amazon demonstrates what future-oriented logistics can look like.
We at Mubea U-Mobility are convinced of the transformative power of e-cargobikes to make urban spaces livable and environmentally friendly. Together with long-term partners like Amazon, we are well on our way to a successful and sustainable future.
