Mubea U-Mobility and Delivery Mates: Together for a Sustainable Delivery Future
At Mubea U-Mobility, we are excited to officially announce our partnership with Delivery Mates. This collaboration is based on a shared vision: logistics solutions that reduce CO2 emissions while protecting the environment in urban areas.
Delivery Mates is a leading company in urban delivery, specializing in flexible and sustainable solutions for the so-called "last mile". They provide modern delivery services for a variety of industries, including for example retail, the pharmaceutical industry, and laundry services, all with a strong focus on efficiency and environmental friendliness.
In July 2023, Delivery Mates introduced their first fleet of Mubea eCargobikes in London to make urban deliveries more efficient and eco-friendly, while testing their versatility in practice.
With the expansion of the Delivery Mates fleet in London by an additional 40 Mubea eCargobikes in August 2024, the partnership reached an important milestone. Farooq Sheik, Head of On-Demand Business at Delivery Mates, highlighted the significance of this collaboration as early as 2023, seeing great potential in the integration of innovative Mubea eCargobikes to further improve logistics efficiency.
The use of our Mubea eCargobikes for package delivery, medication distribution, laundry pick-up and drop-off, as well as the transport of hot meals or fresh flowers, clearly demonstrates that technological innovation and environmental awareness can go hand in hand to make cities more livable. The eCargobikes offer a sustainable and future-oriented solution to the challenges of urban delivery logistics.
