2024: Our Highlights at a Glance
The year 2024 was a year full of milestones for Mubea U-Mobility. With the continued development of our cargo bikes, Mubea’s electrically powered cargo bikes, we made another significant contribution to sustainable mobility. This was complemented by the successful market launch of our e-scooter, the XBoard, along with the introduction of the XBoard App.
Strong partnerships, enthusiastic customer feedback, and prestigious awards highlight that sustainable mobility is already a reality at Mubea.

Successful Launch of the XBoard
Our second product, the XBoard, marks a completely new chapter for us – our first step into the B2C market, and what a fantastic debut it was! The limited initial batch of 200 units sold out in no time. We are thrilled to see so many of you embracing this vision with us.
As one customer perfectly summed it up: "The XBoard not only looks fantastic but also offers a silent and smooth ride that reminds me of surfing. The quality of the components is outstanding. What can I say? My high expectations were far exceeded."

XBoard Employee Leasing at Mubea
In partnership with our leasing provider Eleasa, we introduced an employee leasing option for the XBoard this summer. This allows our employees to save up to 35% compared to the retail price, with full private usage included!
This attractive employee benefit not only enhances satisfaction but also turns our 3,000+ employees in Germany into ambassadors for sustainable mobility.
The response has been overwhelming: over 150 leasing applications were submitted in no time, and the first XBoards were successfully delivered shortly after. And the verdict? The waiting list for next year keeps growing!
XBoard App Debut
Another highlight was the launch of the XBoard App. With the app, customers can take full control of their riding experience – from speed and battery status to personalized settings, all accessible in real-time via smartphone. The app is available in the App Store and on Google Play. The connected city-surfing adventure has begun 😉.
Diverse Partnerships and Customers
Our partnerships and customers are key to our success, reflecting the diversity and versatility of our electric cargo bikes. From large corporations to small businesses, across Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK, we are proud to work with partners like Amazon Germany is paving the way for emission-free parcel delivery. In cities like Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Cologne, and Hamburg, our Cargo PACKs are in daily use. In Berlin alone, over 1.5 million parcels are delivered emission-free each year.
Delivery Mates in England also rely on our cargo solutions. Whether for parcel delivery, distributing medications, or transporting hot meals and fresh flowers, our cargo bikes demonstrate their versatility in any situation.
The Waste Management and City Cleaning Freiburg utilizes our eCargobikes for sustainable and efficient city cleaning.
UPS in Munich enables emission-free deliveries in the old town, an area with strict access restrictions, using the Cargo PACK. This not only reduces CO₂ emissions but also makes last-mile delivery more efficient.
Our Dutch partner RIVA has also equipped its customers with our electric cargo bikes this year. These are being used in a variety of applications, including in amusement parks.

Digital X and Eurobike 2024
At Digital X in Cologne, the leading trade fair for digitalization, we had the honor of showcasing our eCargobikes as the official logistics partner. The complete Cargo family – Cargo PACK, Cargo WORK, and Cargo PICK-UP – along with a fleet of XBoards, proved to be ideal tools for fast, emission-free goods transport at the event. From merchandise and event equipment to refreshments and water crates, our solutions offered flexibility and security. Shortcuts through parks, pedestrian zones, and narrow streets ensured timely deliveries.
The Eurobike 2024 in Frankfurt am Main was not only a celebration of sustainable mobility but also took place amidst the electrifying atmosphere of the European Championship fever that swept through the city. Our products – from Cargo PACKs to the XBoard – were available for test rides throughout the event.
Among others, the "Scooterhelden", well-known in the e-scooter scene, and YouTuber "Codadrea" tested our XBoard and shared their experiences directly with their communities.

Prestigious Awards
We are particularly proud that our products continue to make waves in the industry: The Cargo PACK was once again awarded "International Cargobike of the Year" in the "Heavy Cargobikes" category. Johannes Reichel, Head of Test + Technology at LOGISTRA, praised the Cargo PACK for its automotive-level quality, outstanding craftsmanship, excellent handling, and high practicality.
Our e-scooter, XBoard, received the iF Design Award 2024, a testament to our commitment to quality and design. This recognition was granted by a jury of 132 international experts, who unanimously agreed that the XBoard is redefining urban mobility.
These accolades are not only a confirmation of our work but also an inspiration to continue developing products that unite innovation and sustainability.

Festive Year-End Gathering at U-Mobility
In December, we wrapped up the year in a relaxed atmosphere together at our main location in Attendorn, Sauerland. With delicious food and great conversations, we reflected on the highlights of the past year and eagerly looked forward to what’s to come. Since our marketing team operates from various locations, it’s always especially nice when we can all come together.
