Greentech Festival 2023: XBoard celebrates world premiere in Berlin
From the 14th until 16th of June 2023 the annual Greentech Festival took place at Berlin Tegel Airport. For us the perfect opportunity to present our market-ready XBoard to an exclusive audience.
At the Greentech Festival, we presented our brand new e-scooter for the first time worldwide. Our XBoard - the surfboard for the last mile. At our indoor booth, we were able to present our XBoard in detail to the visitors and then point them directly to the test track in the outdoor area. In addition to discussions with numerous interested visitors, we were also approached by other discussion partners such as potential suppliers. But also the exchange with the other exhibitors, whether from the industry or across industries, held exciting topics such as sustainability, new technologies or corporate strategies.
On the airport grounds outside, the visitors were able to test drive our XBoard exclusively on a test track and experience the unique surf feeling. The response: WOW! Our XBoard received particular enthusiasm for its easy folding mechanism, which folds the XBoard with just one click. But also the extraordinary surfing feeling was mentioned again and again. Even after closing the test track, we could still look into happy eyes after opening the track once more for a final test ride.
The lucky winners of our Instagram competition were also on site and test drove our XBoard. It can be said: Our XBoard has mastered its premiere at the Greentech Festival brilliantly and definitely aroused the interest and enthusiasm of the visitors!
But also our cargo bikes could not be missing on the test track! In addition, two of our Cargo PICK UP's were used by the Operations Team of the Greentech Festival for the assembly and disassembly of the festival.
About Greentech Festival
More than 11,500 festival visitors, over 180 speakers on 5 stages and 160 exhibitors were part of the event. Numerous public figures were also represented, such as Dr. Robert Habeck, the founder of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, Nico Rosberg, Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen, FDP Chairman and Federal Minister of Finance Christian Lindner, as well as other interesting personalities.
The motto of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL: "Mission to net zero".
The event serves as a global platform that promotes innovative green technologies for a sustainable future. The Green Awards were also presented under this motto. At the gala event, numerous well-known faces from the media cavorted on the Green Carpet - and we were right in the middle of it! The awards were presented in the categories "Youngster", "Innovation", "Start-Up" and other special awards.
